GAPA will be hosting an Indigenous and First Nation Peoples pre-event on 7 April.
This event will build on the call of action in support of Indigenous-led aspirations for effective alcohol policy initiated by those who attended the GAPC 2023 Indigenous forum. Importantly, an objective of the event will be to review the call of action, and plan and prioritise the next steps for realising Indigenous aspirations in the alcohol policy space.

Civil society organisations, academic institutions, development agencies, funding agencies and others free from any ties to the alcohol industry are invited to contact the organisers to organise their own side events – closed meetings or open to conference participants, on 7 April 2026, the day prior to the GAPC 2026.
